OUR SEAL COAT PROCESS
Cato’s Paving sealcoat solutions always include hot-applied crackfill. This ensures that the finished result meets our standard of quality. It is important to note that any striping changes need to be covered with black paint so that it doesn’t show through. This process is known as ghosting.
Most surfaces have been sealcoated more than once in their lifetime. This creates a “tight surface” where all the voids have been filled and the sealer has worn off the rocks. This gives the surface a worn out appearance. Cato’s Paving will make sure that the seal coat looks as good as possible.
After the job is complete, your pavement will regain a smooth, deep-black surface. We meticulously hand trim the edges of the pavement surface to maintain a clean separation from the concrete borders. Cato’s Paving takes pride in our seal coat expertise.
